Katherine Liberovskaya (Canada) and Anne Wellmer (The Netherlands)
will present a journey
into the sound of the image and the image of the sound following a residency
focusing on experimentation with electronically generated and/or processed audio
and video signals at the Experimental Television Center in Owego, NY; Wellmer:

Carl Michael von Hausswolff (Stockholm)
likes it when the audience appreciates a full
body massage and falls asleep; his multi-oscillator sine waves correspond with
not only the physical audience but also with the interior architecture; this
Stockholm-based maverick will now do his first "real" New York concert
since the debut at CBGBs in 1990 |

Jon Abbey and Jason Lescalleet (USA)
DJ 3 - 11 pm
Abbey (Erstwhile Records) and Lescalleet (Glistening
Examples) program a very special day / night of electroacoustic music created
from 2005-2008; Lescalleet may occasionally join in with live accompaniment
and/or perform on his own; previously unreleased pieces will be part of the
program, including future Erstwhile releases as well as gems from Lescalleet's
archives |

Stefaan Quix (Belgium)
Red Monochrome / Bruno S; he is a postdigital
artist living and working in Brussels, active in different media - his work
integrates sound, colour, composition, space and athematics and is linked with
the mathematical sublime and postminimalism |

Andrew Lafkas and Bryan Eubanks (New York)
on doublebass and electronics, respectively,
have been working together since 2002; for this concert they will work with
improvised and pre-composed elements, as well as other acoustic instrumentalists
to realize an evening length work for contrabass, electronics, trombone, viola,
and flute |

Francisco Janes (Portugal)
is an artist working with several media; the
main ontological focus of his work and thinking has been the question of Time;
he will present "Fissural", a result of his research and work during
the fellowship; a sound and image piece without duration, taking off from a
certain idea of the City |

Leslie Ross (New York)
In this program discrete and microscopic nuances
are highlighted and given a place in space when the instrument - bassoon - is
micro-miked with numerous microphones: each source sent to its own speaker (placing
the listener inside the player and instrument) - boundary terrain is opened
and explored as definition between timbre and pitch dissolve |

6pm until midnight
So what's new?- well, after 75 years he can still
do six hours of music and film/video on the winter solstice; 6pm until 12am
of the longest night of the year |
