Spring & Summer 2003 


Phill Niblock finishes two new pieces, commisioned by and to be broadcast by Deutschland Radio in Koln, Germany. "Sethwork", for Seth Josel, acoustic, unamplified guitars played with e-bow, 21 minutes, June 21 2003 "Lucid Sea", for Lucia Mense, recorders, 20 minutes, August 10, 2003


The broadcast will be Saturday October 4 at 22.05 (10:05pm) on Deutschland Radio in Koln, "ATELIER NEUER MUSIK". There will be commentary and an interview by the critic and author Egbert Hiller.

Exposition of the painting "North Rim" (2002 ) of the cycle "Painted
Desert" by Graham Cantieni.
Simultaneously there will be music by Jean Rene, improvising on alto
saxophone; and Phill Niblock, "Summing II" and "Sweet Potato".
