The music of Phill Niblock, one of the major musical experimenters
living, is neither minimalist nor ambient. The Movement of People Working -
presented in preview in the form of installation and played live at the MITO
Festival - the films are shot in rural environments in various countries (China,
Brazil, Portugal, Lesotho, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong, Mexico, Hungary, Peru), through
a flawless handling of color and a very special dry assembly, tells of times
to come in regards to the contradictions and paradoxes of globalization.
